Despite being linked with a return to his orignal club North Adelaide, Josh Cubillo has today signed on as a Sturt player for season 2012.

Serious question, do Norwood supporters want/think he should continue?

Would probably go back home to WA and play WAFL surely?

Gees, would dominate at SANFL level though, surely?

Would think he would nominate for the draft and get picked up by someone (Fremantle my guess)

Fair question mate ... Would need a HUGE improvement on what he offered in 2011, but I always admire a player who tries to tough his way out of a poor patch rather than just instantly walk.

I hope for our sake and his sake, it all comes together better in 2012 than it did this season.

Thanks JK. Another year older, I wouldn't think he would have huge improvement left in him. I dont recall him having too many injuries this year which is a plus I guess.

This article hints that neither of the Western Australian AFL clubs would be interested - which I find hard to believe?

Mentions he is worth about $100,000 more than they offered. On a SANFL or WAFL wage he would be alot further away than that.

I think the biggest area that could be improved is between the ears

Yeah, I thought that myself, but I'm sure a club would be able to find some sort of well paid job as part of the 'package'.

Don't get too excited Phil, last year he was returning home to Port Lincoln, yet had his best SANFL season......

Prior to the article being updated, the text under the picture of Leon said something along of the lines of...

Leon may be WA bound but may not have any interest from either West Coast or Fremantle.

I don't recall exactly what it said because it has changed now, but I posted what I did because of that caption under his picture initially.

Obviously it has changed once more info came to hand and the initial story and caption under the picture was then changed - the picture was one of Leon in a gurnsey.

Davis coming to the SANFL would make no sense at all. Why leave an AFL club for less money in a lower competition in a state you have even less ties to than the one you're coming from?
