I believe that's the case. However the Grandstands are being built but the SANFL haven't put the goalposts in yet. Which means they could be moved at any time knowing them.

I couldnt care less about kickin's theory, but I'd love to hear Francou's.

I reckon he found out Moore would be playing late in the cycle and rather than dropping an SANFL player already selected and told to make room for Moore, he figured it was easier to roll out Young, who he wouldn't have seen during week (I guess )

because francou is one of the most arrogant and pig headed people going around. I wonder if he allows his players to belt one another at training like he use to do to his team mates.

If there was a genuine reason to why north played him in the ressies they would of said so in their statement about him being moved to port, instead of we would of picked him for league this week.

You mean Port Power's first ten years ;)
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Dogwatcher wrote:I don't see how the AFL situation is any different to the loan process in soccer, which seems to work well across the world.
The parent club continues to pay the player's wage, while the loan club plays the player how they believe he is needed to fit their structures - looks pretty similar to what is going on now...
So why are our AFL clubs getting so upset about this?

If an AFL listed player can't work out his side's structures whilst training full time with his AFL club, he's going to struggle anyway.

So you're saying SANFL clubs should have to come to an agreement with the AFL club and pay them money if they want to 'loan' a player?

Top 10 would include Primus, Tredrea, Wanganeen, Burgoyne's x 2, Roger James, equal to or above Francou.

And yes, I have thought of Pickett, Lade and Wakelin. No way could put these blokes before Francou

Was interesting to hear Rucci on AA this arvo, apparantly the SANFL league delegates are having a meeting tonight to discuss all matters. He also said that if there was a vote today it would be 6-2 against AFL reserve teams in the SANFL.
Wonder who the 2 clubs are
He also believes this will be the last year we see the Magpies in the SANFL
