Here's my take on the Crows v South today. The live stats on my phone seem ok. It refreshes every 30 seconds.
There must be issues on the SANFL website. On my laptop, the live stats need to be manually refreshed. I clicked the live radio coverage link in website and it did not work so I found the link to the coverage. On the website I can not find what time in the game it is. It does give a time for scores. Some work needs to be done by the developer if they are getting paid for this.

I can not comment yet the digital pass and only have the eagles.

Avoiding obvious bias, not surprisingly, seems to be something that most people doing that job are pretty conscious of.

It's like anything in life, generally.

The more you do it, the better you should get.

I have no doubt I would be better at not showing any bias today as I was 8 years ago when I first starting calling SANFL footy.

I am always conscious of it, but to be honest, I just make sure when I'm doing a Dogs game, I just call naturally so I am not overthinking it.

Fair point.

A bit off topic, but many of us have been (rightly) critical of those in the east, (and closer to home in the last 25 years) that saw the VFL / AFL as being the be all and end all of footy and its history.

Likewise, we should appreciate that that there is much more to SANFL footy than what we see on the SANFL field every week.

That said, short of being at the game, I think I'll stick to reading the CDFC and SAFooty sites.

I give up again.
3 weeks and failure again.

Why do I bother!

No Ch7 coverage of the ANZAC day game, no option to watch the game as a neutral fan....they really don;t care about their product do they?

Today would have been a perfect day to provide a free trial of the digital pass.

Now, now. Don't be like that. We've been told that we're better off than ever before. Remember when we had to turn on the RADIO?

Very poor attendances this round, one has to wonder how much this live stream you can now get albeit for a price is affecting attendances, be interesting to see the figures of how many are staying home and tuning in on computers etc rather than going to the game.
You cant change your past but you can sure hell shape you future

There is an option if you are a neutral..........go to the game if it means that much to you.

Maybe the SANFL should make this their slogan from now on?

Its doesn't mean that much to me, but now being a passive SANFL fan it is frustrating that the coverage of the league has gone to a new low.
