I didn't say he's guilty but there are 30 charges and if he's found guilty he needs to go. I'm a white ribbon ambassador and take domestic violence very seriously. It's not a joking matter and more men need to get on board. 11 times I collected my sister from hospital over the years so you can shove your hard on comment up your arse.

The hard on comment was directed at you enjoying the situation Glenelg find themselves in, anyone who's read your posts know you love sticking it to Glenelg and that's fine , it's a forum for everyone.
What I would find offensive is if you were using this situation as a soap box and self appreciation exercise.

No idea what you blokes (TopsyWaldron, Booney, Southee, BlueandWhite and Dogwatcher) are on about, but righto, post what you have to post if it makes you feel better.

Australia says no to domestic violence, Maxy.
And to making jokes about it.

It doesn't make me feel better to point out that someone's post is pretty ordinary. It's disappointing that I have to.
But, hey, if you want to see your club showing fight and aggression by (allegedly) beating up on women, fair enough.

Ouch - maybe you misconstrued my comments:

Stevens told the Herald Sun the allegations were untrue and would be fought in court.

“The whole thing is 150 per cent false,’’ Stevens said.

“I wish I could go into it more. I have done the right thing and am being slammed for it, I can tell you I have done absolutely nothing wrong.”

He sounds aggressive and said he would fight it - not up to me to decide if he is guilty or not, that's what courts are for.

sorry guys.

Gone..

All aggression should be left on the sports arena.

What is domestic violence..?

Anyone that says that I am in a relationship with domestic violence, is correct.

Any form of violence is determined by the victim.

Forget the public respect for the accused.

At the risk of having everything twisted around again, a few years ago, Glenelg partook in the game at Noarlunga which involved the wearing of white ribbons and the reading of the "I swear never to commit, excuse or remain silent about violence against women. This is my oath".

This was done again on the weekend in the South vs Adelaide game, in which I happily and honourably wore the white ribbon. Just wondering if Glenelg had played in this game this time and if Stevens read the oath as well, how would he be perceived now?

If guilty, then yes, lock the bastard up. If innocent, and as has been said, 30 reports is a bit more than a woman crying wolf, I still believe that he cannot hold his position at the GFC. He should have at least told the Club at the time of his appointment, or during the interview process, that there was a pending investigation to avoid this situation.

Do people need to get Police Checks done when applying for Senior Football Coaching positions? You would probably presume that it wasn't necessary, but then how many club senior coaches are involved with kid coaching clinics, U18's, U16's, etc. But then again, a police check means bugger all unless you actually get caught - which I saw happen to a former friend, unfortunately. Hence the reason he is a former friend.

Your words weren't twisted. You provided no context to your comment. The only thing any fellow poster could judge you on was your post, which seems to indicate you were making a joke out of the charges laid against Stevens and suggesting "at least someone was showing some fight". Provide the correct context and your words might not have been misconstrued. Thanks for the follow-up clarification.
