Eagles retirees,
Steven Hall, is coaching Henley in Div 1, was anounced Friday night
Tim Inkster is playing at Henley too.
Duncan is apparently heading back to the country.
Rugulo was told he is not a required player.

Reserves runner Dutchy Holland to Henley as well as a few others perhaps.

Not sure about Hier being drafted, he tried out at Richmond last pre-season and was told he was too slow and not tall enough. But he is one of the best defenders and toughest players going around in the SANFL

Petrenko will go, his pace alone will ensure that. He is a bit like an Alwyn Davey.
Fairclough might go, is a brilliant player who will only improve. Just his height goes against him.

Can you confirm any of this cd?? :?

How old is Inkster? He'd be a superstar at Amateur level.

I can confirm Hally will be the next successful coach of Henley - Hally will do a top job.

Rest are just rumours as is always the case at this time of the year. Dont think any moves out will be known until after Friday nights Club Champion Award Night - a few tickets still available as of this morning - bookings at the club.

Likewise recruits wont be known for a little while - draft makes life difficult but there are some big names in the pipeline!

Also, I believe that you need to be an SANFL registered player to be able to nominate for the Draft- to stop nobodies from Z grade nominating for the Draft, hoping that John Reid will come chasing them with a 2 year contract...

smac- maybe that form is for delisted players/players currently in the system?

that rule was brought in after some smarta*se from Streaky Bay nominated for the draft as a joke and when there was no or nominal registration fee a few years ago

Early on it was a joke,, ex redbacks coach Wayne phillips actually nominated IIRC..

Paul Lindsay's ankles are stuffed.

Eagles don't need Jarrad Wright. Snubbed the club when delisted from the Lions. Wanted the absolute world. What does this say about the panthers and the salary cap. Any way Wright is not the type of player the Eagles want. He is not an in and under player and is not overly quick.
Could not compete with the Gowans (for toughnes) and they have to be the measuring stick.

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

True, but by all accounts the fishing was ordinary over there.

I think that one was a lapse of his judgement.

Cicca went to Geelong following his trouser snake but it didn't work out that why he came back, could of made it if he wanted to.

If Pedler is retiring to go to a country club, his brother used to be an import at Mallala, Captained to a flag this year by ex-eagle Jason Earl.

Paul Lindsay
Tim Inkster
Steven Hall - definite
Gavin Colville
Joe Pedler
Jared Petrenko - definite
Luke Duncan
Vinnie Rugolo
Matthew Cooper

All of the players from all of the rumours are above. I doubt that the club captain would go to North.
