Agree Blue Boy, very similar to williams at Hawthorn and he has made it

Got to be kidding! He's nothing like Williams! Well done to Chambers on a good season but I wouldnt want him at Centrals let alone an AFL club want him.

Possibly Obst but not sure anyone else would make it. Besides, who would want to leave Central for the AwFuL??

Dutschke would have a good crack at hit.
Havelberg has the right qualities as well.

I think Havelburg is a chance for a rookie selection, but realistically his name only stands out for most football fans because of his effort in one game this year. The rest of his season certainly wasn't a stand out.

Salter looks the player who could most make an impact in the AFL the soonest from Eagles. I'm sure many SANFL players could hold their own in the AFL - Treeby and Jarrad are two from the Eagles whose attributes would suit the AFL.

enough skill. Havelberg reminds me of Prokopec a bit (early days, though) & Dutschke will get himself killed in the first round! The mad bastard has white line fever!

Havelberg has a lot more versatility than Prokopec. Dutschke skills probably prevented him from getting picked up earlier however improved gratly in that area. Agreed he is a mad bastard but that is one of the reasons I would like to see him have a crack.

Peter, do you acrtually believe what you type?

Just curious.

Any tax office issues lately for Sturt?

and an Administration that is looking to move Sturt Home games back to AO from 2009 onwards. But don't worry, the NAFC are contemplating the same move as well and our Adminsitration is way more professional (in some things) than yours plus we pay our bills on time!

I agree Aerie, from what I've seen of Salter this season I think he would make a fair fist of it at AFL level.

Who from??? And don't say Rob Gerard - he only went guarantor against loans we are still paying off. No different than the City of Elizabeth going guarantor for the Grand Central project back several years ago. So now what is your point?

I heard that a little assistance was obtained from another Northern club when the chips were down, which is a good thing in my opinion because no-one would like to go through a merger or, worse still, being wound-up.

No financial support but certainly admin advice etc but funny you should mention that because in a discussion the other day about those dark years number of peole were told that only 2 clubs offered any sort of moral assistance etc believe it or not, the Port Magpies were one and the main was of course Centrals as you well know.

Agree with the thoughts re Salter from the little I have seen of him.
One man who I believe should have made it in the AwFuL but sady never did was Mark McKenzie. Excellent player and always reliable.
