B & W, where will he do pre-season??????

its a hard choice since North have 2 licensed venues

Only one choice - the Northern Tavern. Grand North has no TAB!

So Archard likes a punt

"Big Deal"

In 2006 he was a very very good player and if he palys that good for the roosters with some of their recruits, they will go very close in 2008

Harty and Simsy are a couple of players North got from other clubs and both didnt mind a punt when the occassion arose.
If Archard is half as much value as those 2, North will be very happy.
Bottom line is he CAN play and will help Norths midfield. :D

what is wrong with that ? he'd need a computer as well to save on the phone bill

I would have thought (assuming he was part of the salary cap), losing Hart would release a fair whack of the cap.

When non-North supporters said that at the start of the year, North supporters informed us he was playing for peanuts and getting a pretty penny for being an assistant coach.

At which end of the season are our pockets getting pissed in?

I have no idea

Taking Collingwood to a Prelim Final, IIRC, is much better then stuff all.

Did he win a FLAG at Collingwood /West Adelaide (I might be wrong dont think he did). And that last game at Port jack looked old and tired very tired.
Sorry but certain footy fans and media measure success with the number of flags won .Outside of Alberton his cupboard appears a mite bare.
Cheers

He won a night GF in 87 against the warriors :(
A very wet and cold night at AAMI stadium that was!

That was always his last clubs troubles, got too hard lets forget about it, he may actually excel at a new club with a little enthusiasm and spirit, know where I would rather be playing, lot better at Prospect with the groggies and supporters showing their true value of being passionate supporters and being very vocal rather than at Noarlunga with the occasional car horn going off

Got too hard with just Souths mmmm, if my memory serves me right he was also rookie listed with the crows any young mans dream and just threw it all in. Maybe it was a bit more than car horns at norlunga oval

Finding it interesting that some of the key recruits targeted by Norths Cartledge, Doyle, Guy Richards, (ruckman, minson was pick nos 4 who they have) Hunt, Torney and now possibly Davis are not going to the club all players want to play for :( :( :( ,,, even Perrie has moved on to new pastures, man must be a fool as prospect is heeps better than unley.

As I said before, he was not the only one to leave South.
Must be a great club when players leave in droves mid year/end of year...

This comment is not a go at North's as a player like S Doyle was offered nearly DOUBLE by Norwood from what was offered by Norths. At the end of the day the main reason clubs get certain players is the $$$$$$$$$, not the family enviroment and the peolpe there, recruiters do make mistakes by not following players to the end like what westies have done all to often Gowans, Colville, Callinan etc

Punk its not why he has left Souths "thats obvious" he is not alone there but why when a lad is on the Crows rookie list he just chucks it in, and no i have not heard the real reason why he threw an opportunity like that away, some kids like Gill etc is a dream come true and others never get the chance he had

Everyone is forgettin the point here if Archards problem was with South Adelaide he had the option to be moved to another SANFL team by the crows. This has happened numerous times and if South was such a huge problem im sure the Crows would have had no problems sending him to another club.

I have it on very good authority the going got to tough for Archard down at the Crows he couldn't handle being a full time footballer. Added to this was the fact that he could get a lot more money playing solely for an SANFL club than being rookie-listed on the crows.

North were not the only club to court Archard and all North people can live in their fantasy world and say he is at the Roosters becuase he loves the club, their supporters, the red and the white, the gog damn bloody rooster but they offered him the most money by a substantial amount that is why he is at North.

Don't be surprised to see Archard playing at a different club in 2009 if better money comes through.

Surely YOU must understand that he didn't need to quit the crows and head back to Victoria to leave South, he could of stayed at the Crows and requsted a transfer to another club. Very simple there is a problem at South everyone knows that but that doesn't apply in this case.
