Maybe not gods country but Saint Apollonia might be popular at Alberton.

Not me DW.... born and bred in Elizabeth mate, live in Craigmore now, but the black and gold beanie mum got me when i was little, transfered to black and gold in my veins. However, I do have a tiny soft spot in me some where for the dogs, but only because of peer pressure from my very one eyed mates.

Where abouts in Craigmore TS? PM me if you don't wish to reveal.
For interests sake, I played my verryyyy first game of footy at Craigmore South PS.
My wife's parents live opposite, funny how life goes in funny directions eh?
BTW - TS I knew lots of bay supporters in Lizbeff growing up.

My daughters/son are too young to really explain, so from Dad's view.
1/ Glenelg, good grass areas especially by the scoreboard, toilets Ok by North/East end, close to home
2/ Woodville, a family favourite, good grass areas, good catering, good toilets, close to home
3/ Richmond, not bad grass area, Excellent BBQ, close to home
4/ Prospect, not bad grass area, catering OK, reasonably close to home
5/ Elizabeth, good grass, good facilities, a fair hike
6/ Noarlunga, as per Elizabeth
7/ Unley usually near the playground, too crowded, ok after the game for a kick (watch out for poop kids)
8/ Alberton, good facilities, no grass, close to home
9/ Norwood, beer which kids can't drink, cement city...
10/ Adelaide, good grass, expensive catering, good tiolets, loses heaps of points for the no footy policy in/on the oval.
11/ Thebarton, minimal grass, toilets a fair way out of the ground (east wing), catering poor. Close to home but !
12/ None of my kids have been to Footy Park, not a bad ground, close to home !!
Is there a grass area at Richmond my memory thinks its cement city.
