The following is what we require;

Ø 1 x Banner
Ø People to hold it up before the match
Ø Transport the banner to the match

We can supply for you and your helpers;

Ø Tickets to the match
Ø SANFL Caps
Ø Cost of materials for the banner
Ø Food and beverage while you construct the banner
Ø West end labels will be supplied for the banner

I will email you the slogan later this week.

Once again thank you and please feel free to contact me at any time for further information if required.

Once again, if the Friday night doesn't suit it could be done on the Thursday night, no night is set in concrete, I will advise the lady organising it that 2 of our potential helpers and possibly others couldn't make it for the Friday night due to the Cows game. The NAFC is cool with Thursday or Friday so there's no reason it couldn't at least be started on the Thursday. I'll pass on info as I get it.

More than happy to help out both Thursday and Friday night (if needed) will also be good to meet some fellow forum members as previously mentioned...

Would love to help hold the banner up on the day as well, reckon I would make a good anchor, 6tf 3, 120kg !!!

OK BIG Phil, If you are out there holding the banner, please keep little phyllis off the field of play if you have a beer in your hand.
We've been told about little phyllis and poles.

Guys, we need confirmation on who will attend so they can organise catering, free tickets, etc.
I think most people are leaning towards Thursday May 29th at Prospect Oval as the time to make it.
Confirm on here or by PM so I can let the SANFL and people organising it know.
Cheers.

Yep, in the clubrooms, turn right when you go through the main entrance.

Mrs Wedgie's and my daughter have done it a few times, the trick is to either have a person who's good at designing stuff like that to have them pre drawn or Ive heard other clubs have purchased letters from a business.
But I agree with what I think you're getting at, it looks great but less letters is the way to go, sometimes more effective too. Perhaps with a yellow and blue vee either side of the words to fill some space.

I used to do the letters from scratch but before moving across the nullarbor, I made up a heap of templates for the SCS to use, it's the way to go. Folding up the crepe and cutting multiple letters at once saves a shit load of time, but I'm sure you had thought of that anyway.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Don't like your chance as priority goes to those who help make it.
Buses go up Main North Rd every 5 minutes too. :wink:

Hi guys. Firstly, thanks to Wedgie for posting this thread for me.
As he's mentioned, State Game Banner making is tomorrow night (Thursday 29th May) at the North Adelaide Football Club. I know a few of you have expressed interest/confirmed that you're able to help. Thanks.
If anyone else is interested, please post ASAP so that I can arrange tickets. Should you turn up to help and I don't know, I may not have tickets available for everyone so first in first served :) Food and drink have been provided by the SANFL also.
I'll be at the club at 4pm (or as close as possible to 4pm) so I look forward to meeting you there.
