As for Schell, an abosolutely disgraceful attack on Rudolph, knocking him out in a tackle then going back twice with the shoulder and head to the body when he clearly was laying knocked out unconsious was a disgrace and should be reported by teh league and rubbed out...

and while on it the Dogs have the Umps beautifully bluffed...

As a frequent reader but minimal contributor I expect to see rational content from you Dutchy, this garbage would have to be the worst thing you have posted.

As long as you stick to facts, Dutchy, banter is fine.
Just stick to facts. I am not a bandwaggoner!
In fact, I have been part of the stats team at Central this season so I certainly did not abandon them as you are suggesting.
Cheers

Sorry Dutchy, nothing in the tackle IMOfrom where I was (western grandstand side), yes he was slung about but Sammy had the ball at the time an unfortunate footy incident. i think if there was anything untoward the players would have come in to remonstrate.

After an even 1st half where both teams had the ascendancy at times the Dogs showed in the third quarter that they were too good:
1. First to the footy,
2. Where clean with their hands
3. Hit their targets
4. kicked when in doubt rather than handpassed, and
5. didn't miss when in scoring range

Too good today, looking forward to poentially haveing teh opportunity for redemption in two weeks time. Confident we can learn from that.

Absolutely you are entitled to your opinion. Without varying opinions this site would not exist. It was more the tone and the way you went off like a tuppenny banger, which IMO is most unlike your usual rational and level-headed self.

Number 4 was the key Tas. Some of the goals we kicked in the third qtr were far from easy, but the players made it look so. That locked the game up, the hardness and workrate were pretty consistent over the whole game.

I thought Glenelg were there or there abouts for the first half. But as has often happened this century in finals, Central wore their opponents down, made the most of their opportunities (see Goodrem's crucial 2 goals in the 3rd quarter) and delivered knock out blows. An amazing team with belief, skill and an unbeatable work ethic.

Whoever is playing them in the Grand Final is going to have to play out of their skins to beat them. But, they can be beaten.

Dogs played finals hardened footy - i.e. what works. AS i said we learn from that.

Glenelg released the pressure today when they had some good opportunities but didn't kick goals.
Well done Tassie for looking at the game without any bias.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Way too loose today

If you want to look at taking something out of it, that game as a whole was a lesson for us

When you tackle an opponent, if the ball does not spill free you continue the tackle. Nothing wrong with what he did, unfortunate that he was knocked out but sometimes there is no one to blame.

Nothing head high there, head hit the ground.......now wether you can get reported for trying to shag your opponent afterwards is debatable but I'd suggest not. Think Joe Pedler got away with it against a Gowans a few years back............

That's what I thought as well. I've seen alot worse on the field. No need to make a song and dance about it. Remember this is a contact sport things like this are going to happen - not intentionally of course but they will happen.
