can the eagles fans shed any light on the injuries sustained by a couple of the u/18 players in a car crash last weekend? Hopefully the boys are doing well but i heard they were both in a serious condition in hospital.

The other two Eagles Timekeepers can easily pass, but the 3 from west should have a hard time getting past you. ;)

Travis Lane did a hamstring some time ago, he was supposed to be up for selection last Saturday but on the Wednesday before he was due to play he reinjured the hammy at training. It is unfortunate for Travis as I thought he was playing some very good football before the injury happened.

There is only 1 Eagles player involved.
The following email is from the club.

The WWTFC would like to make its members and supporters aware, that U/18 player Brodee Brown, was last Saturday night involved in a serious car crash on Port Wakefield Road at Virginia.

The crash resulted in Brodee being airlifted and admitted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital Intensive Care Unit with serious injuries. Another passenger in the vehicle also suffered serious injuries in the crash.

Although Brodee has since been discharged from Intensive Care, the Club’s thoughts continue to be with him and his family. I am sure you join us in wishing Brodee a full and speedy recovery.

You shouldn't, the last time the two u18s sides played each other was at Richmond and was won by West by a point.
