The only reason he hasn't been reported for Sunday's incident is that neither of the umpires witnessed the hit, and it was not picked up on any cameras given that it was so far of the play.
Glenelg had the right to report him, but have chosen not too. Lucky, because the league officials witnessed the incident also and i guess would've had quite a say tonight if it had of made it's way to the tribunal.
So what about McConnells first hit on Foldesdy ... that was ok I suppose ? And if the umpires didnt see it why did they pay a free down the ground ? Play with fire expect to get burnt.
FFS .... No wonder you Blokes cant win Jack s***t .... Whingers and Mentally Piss Weak. It's Friggin football not netball.
And that is really comical .... after all they did have the Stringer boys and Co .... Dont friggin choke on your Halo !!
Maybe the SANFL need to get your South Board onboard to show them how to run a well oiled, unified and organised show ???

I reckon the umpires paid a free because it was clear that McConnel had been hit although thy did not see the direct contact.
So you are saying that the umpires GUESSED and paid a free kick because they thought that it may have been a hit - Good Umpiring in that case ...For Gods sake ... it could have been another McConnell dive looking for a free kick ... he done plenty of that over his journey (but we all know that it wasnt this time).
Like I said .. hitting from behind isn't on and it is gutluss ... but Mattys king hit was not from behind.
Were the Glenelg supports Disgusted when McConnell hit Foldesdy in the nuts earlier ... I dont think so. As i said in an earlier posted ... if you are prepared to give it out you better be prepared to get one back.

Perhaps he should read the book about the boy and the wolf!

So he 'deserves' to get belted?

Well noone I know does, most would consider a king hit from behind a king hit from behind just like they'd consider a king hit from the front a king hit from the front. Ive seen a lot more king hits from the front.
Feel free to do a google search and see what comes up on the first page if you.
Heaps of players have received king hits from in front including several footy video packages where that's exactly how the commentators described it.
You were the one who had a go at Hawks22 when he was on the money not me.
Most king hits are from the front but as they're usually unexpected and preemptive I would agree several come from behind or the side.
Now don't get touchy with me Booney just because you're wrong!
