TSG. North should win this, if not I can`t see anyone taking us serious for the rest of the season.
It could turn out to be one of those years win one week, lose the next.
If we want some respect we should win this game and I feel we will.
I am certainly looking forward to it. 8)

I hear ya. Just hope we can weather the storm early.

Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for Sunday. Should be fun.

Elstone will probably cop a spray. But I am sure he will get support from the players and supporters who need to be there in big numbers.

Should make the players more determined.

Probably, but there is no sentiment in business, no passion assosciated with working for a living, playing with a team for a club on the other hand....

Better opportunity? He was playing for the proudest, most successful club in Australia. He could have been an inspirational leader in what is probably the most crucial season in our history.

But things got tough and he couldn't handle that pressure. Sounds like he is made for North after their R1 showing.

OK then. My son, if he knows what's good for him, will grow up being a Norwood supporter. Should he be a decent footballer, he will need to go to Port as we live in their zone. He will leave Port in a heart beat if he was offered a better opportunity at Norwood or any other club for that matter.

Now if we were in Norwood's zone, and he played for Norwood, but for some reason he wasnt enjoying his footy. I'd be happy for him (not for me) to go elsewhere for his footy career.

To call Elstone a weak, money grabbing club slut is way too harsh.

No one thought very much of Elstone as a person at Port Adelaide. He was causing issues amongst the group and was extremely selfish.

And that proof is in the pudding with his off season transfer. Good riddence.

So because I don't rate the fact that a player left our club for more money and because the going got tough, I'm not intelligent?

The degree and graduate diplomas hanging on my wall suggest otherwise.

Or maybe he just wanted to play for a club that will still be around in the next few years.

It's so much easier to sink the boot in when your opponent is on the ground.

And if you're right and Port aren't aroud in a few years, the SANFL will be much poorer for the loss, so your comment is pathetic.

Just like Port fans did for years.

On topic. I think North will win.

Probably as easy as it was for Port fans to be arrogant *****s during their successful years.

I can't see any reason why the SANFL will be "much poorer" without the Magpies in the SANFL.

I'd suggest the competition would be better for Port not being around. Whether it's Port or not though my point is that with the 2 new AFL franchises coming in we will lose quality players from the SANFL making the standard drop. By losing a side the standard won't drop as significantly.

Anyway that's another topic. As for the game North should win comfortably. Looking forward to seeing Elstone carve up his old side
