I think that may open the road for 'Norman' Gunston to make his debut for us. It does make it hard though, having to play most of our talls down back already.

Congrats to Hendo on his debuit for the Crows. Lets hope Neil Craig doesn't destroy his confidence like's he's done to Taylor Walker.

As for who would replace him, I'm with bulldogproud2 and suggest Gunston.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Wow, Hendo likely to make his AFL debut, he's come a long way since being drafted.

Super talent, so excited to see him strut his stuff tomorrow night.

Gunston will be in the mix to make his league debut for the Doggies, especially after a good performance in the reserves the week before kicking 5 (sorry Bulldog2004 and whufc, couldn't help myself ;) )

Maybe they meant should've kicked 5. ;) Saw his highlights on AFC.com and boy, he had enough chances to kick a bag. Looks really dangerous up there. Has that nice mix of height, speed and good leap.

Trouble is Gunston is more an opportunist/flanker type forward in my eyes where as Henderson has been playing as a "go to" man so it will not be a like for like swap. Dont get me wrong - I think Gunston will be one of those kids who take to League footy like a duck to water - just not as a key position player.

As for Henderson, I think the promotion is way too soon and just highlights the desperate situation the Crows are in. If they can't utilise Walker in their structure, I dont see how they will with Ricky.

Anyway, that said, I wish him all the best and hope he proves me wrong!

I'm the guys biggest fan, and I've been waiting for this day for some time, but I agree, he's still somewhat of a project and in an ideal world his debut would've come later on in the year, say round 18-20 which would've been good for him heading into 2011. In saying that, doesn't make me any less pumped to see him debut! You never know, he could shine, he's got that potential.

All 3 rookies are guns though.

Upgrading Donnelly, now THAT would be hitting the panic button.

Couldn't agree more... This would have to be the most vulnerable they've been for quite a while.

Having said that, with Sturt's current form, it's pretty hard to tip a Blues win...

I look forward to seeing the Sturt team. If they go in with the same half forward line they did last week they'll struggle big time...
