Sure this wasn't 'Back to the 80s' round?

Specifically 1983, 1985 and 1987...

That is the final score, Glenelg kicked 7.9 in the last quarter to Port 5.0.

Almost identical to the scores last week when Glenelg scored 28.12 against West 14.11.

What a sensational day for the Glenelg Footy Club (and punkrooster who had a huge bet on the Bays).
I've got some great pics (its the camera not me) and I reckon I took my 2nd best ever shot ever today when I got a pic of Ben Moore getting gatorade poured over him in the changerooms after the game. Stay tuned, it'll probably take me at least an hour to sort though the 90 odd pics I took and resize them and upload them.

Highlights of the day for me... (1980TM, you'll love option 2)
1. Backing the Bays & winning :D
2. Booing Graham Studley Cornes, to his face, on his home ground, in front of his own supporters :D

Cornsey was good today, we gave him some crap but it was funny when I informed him (thanks to Tassie telling me) that Barrie Robran rated him in the best 5 players of all time.
Cornsey said "That Robran is a damn good judge" with a cheeky grin on his face! he he

Poor old Punky was still panicking when the Bays were 70 points in front despite only giving 15 points in for his massive bet.

Anyone want to estimate the crowd?

If there was 5500 for the North/Bays game Im guessing about 4700 today. Awesome crowd but weirdly enough a laxadasical atmosphere, a lot of the Bays fans that only rock up to Bays home games on Sunday seem to treat it as a social day out unlike the way North supporters treat is a religious experience.

Crowd was probably evenly split between Port and Bays fans today IMHO.

Was looking that way at half-time. Credit to Port, their second half was much better than their first. Fought the game out well and made it a contest worth watching.

... whilst the sook who slung him into the fence does not stand the mark, but remonstrates with the umpires instead. Great going Mr. King, I'm sure the coach appreciated your giving up of a certain goal, for he did not drag you...
