I'm certainly no fan of flares, and if I knew who it was who was bringing them in I'd get onto the club about it, but it's hardly the most serious thing that happens at games. I certainly don't recall huge hype when the fan swung an umbrella at a Gowans at the end of a game once, nor anything when a few opposition fans decided they wanted to forcibly remove a banner from some dogs fans. Yet the worst offense for some seems to be what is really a fairly harmless activity.

Despite the fact that we have regularly been without a dozen or so of our top 25 players, there is still great depth at Elizabeth. This was evidenced by the Reserves beating the second placed Port Adelaide by ten goals on Saturday. The trick will be in selecting the right mix. Will be interesting to see if Hendo gets selected by the Crows this weekend.
Should be a great match. The head says Norwood, the heart says Central.
Cheers

Why do people sitting near by or standing have to put up with this type of behaviour. Everyone is enjoying the game then have to move away to avoid inhaling the smoke. Not on imo.

P.S A flare was let off at the Port South game this year. Perhaps Port shouldn't play night games either?

Port fans also let off a flare at the Parade earlier in the year
