Before I cop abuse about how pathetic Norwood was today i do say well done to Centrals. A good team effort today and exposed Norwood and basically showed us where we are at.
You deserve to be favourites again this year and I have to say you have the perfect game plan and should give it a hella of a shake.Hope Norwood can get another crack at you guys though

Should've been from their own supporters.

I think this was a copy of the game at the Parade by the Redleg supporters. We weren't impressed.

I know this is stating the obvious but the key to beating Norwood is making sure they don't get a loose ball, and if they do, put heaps of pressure on the ball carrier...Norwood will cough it up 9 of 10 times. They crack under pressure. I saw a number of times today where Norwood would get a loose ball near or in a pack and be tackled and then handball to another teammate under pressure who would get tackled and then he would cough it up.

Another thing they do is kick 50 metres sideways...very Glenelg like are Norwood.

they have to go sideways because We flood back so effectively.

Hopefully Centrals people will now pop in the cue rack the old cliche about Norwood fans not traveling, on the outer it was nearly all red and blue.

Sutherland is a gigantic numpty, the whole tough guy routine he pulls is truly hilarious.

See you in the finals.

Possibly, normally spend the 1st Semi in the bar.........

What a fantastic win! Didn't see or hear any of the game but what a drubbing it was!

Now we don't have to care about anything other than injury management for the next two weeks and when we take the field for the second semi final two of the finalists will have already been knocked out!

Don't laugh, next week North will be playing for their lives. They could get up & win, no need for Us to bust a gut.

Whichever 21 takes the field against North, there's a second semi side to fill so everyone will be going for the win. But with top spot sewn up now some blokes might be rested (maybe not all by choice) and the edge might come off somewhat. Dogs should still win, but North are definitely a chance.

Sounds like a great win. Was a real shame to miss it, but I drained the battery on my phone checking the scores all afternoon. With such a compromised team to take on the leading contender at nearly full strength and to not just win but win handily, even with uncharacteristically poor goalkicking is massive. Looks like by the stats everything was split fairly evenly apart from tackles, which (apart from the scoreboard) I tend to rate as the most telling stat of all.

We also won the hit outs, mainly due to the numpty playing in ruck

Meh, some posters are just itching for him to fail so I don't read too much into it. I think some find his antics annoying (I guess I would too if he wasn't with us) while others are just embarassed their club didn't nab him.

yes every team needs a shocker before finals lol

positives
-we potentially have 5 players back into the side for the second semi who would be walk up starts in any other side
-i save about $150 on one less final we have to play
-we are 1 win away from a 12th consecutive GF
-a few young lads pushed for finals selection

Negatives
-Norwood are still in the finals hunt and are still just as capable of winning the premiership as they were on Friday night
-Potentially Hynes and Goodrem were injured from todays game

We can now imagine the finals preview and that the media is going to speculate the whole if Norwood couldnt beat them then can they etc etc etc

The biggest winners from today were North Adelaide who need a final round victory and potentially could come up against Central mini league side.

Forgot one positive Norwood are now thrown into a battle against a side who they have struggled against this year before they even get another shot at us.
