Game was spoilt by 1 umpire in particular who missed the blatant stuff and then seconds later would pay a baffling free, when players from both sides look at each other and dont know which way the free has gone says alot about this guys umpiring. Thought 2 of the 3 umps were not too bad.
Very lucky and happy to get a win at a venue we struggle at against probably the best lineup that Sturt could produce.

Mate, name the umpire, if they are not up to the standard, name them, dont let them hide behind an apron.

At the end of the season the ladder shows wins, loses, draws, pts for, pts against, percentage and premiership points.
It doesnt show frees for, frees against, how many games a side was undermaned due to injury.
We won, you lost. Move on.

In the last quarter Tambling got a very soft free kick and numbnuts yells out that he only got the free kick because he is "black". Even Norwood supporters were telling him to f**k off.
Ive had a few run ins with this guy in the past and is the reason why for the last few seasons I have moved to a differant viewing area at home games

Avon was a dead set shocker, reckon he made 90% of the crap calls and missed some absolute howlers.
Thought Deboy and Fleer did ok and used more common sense

Here's a point of view you might want to acknowledge.
this is what one Norwood supporter wrote on Redleg Talk
"Just one sour note from the match - the Norwood fan with the beard that leapt on top of the players race post game, waving the flag, giving the finger to the crowd, inciting them and spouting off some of that filth to the Sturt fans - if you had been dragged down from there by Sturt fans and attacked, you only would have had yourself to blame. I've seen you doing this crap before to opposition fans, and then running to Weslo when it gets tough. If you're going to dish it out, expect it back, otherwise grow the **** up. Our club doesn't want to be seen as sore winners and your "performance" today was a disgrace."
......or not!

Sturt and Norwood should be banned from playing Sunday afternoon games at Unley from now on.

well... yes he reacted poorly but only after he was verbally abused by the angry sturt lynch mob....that might of then encouraged them to pelt him with beer cans, quite entertaining really i don't see any harm with jumping up there to wave a flag to support ur team off.
what concerns me though is the sturt muppet who was actually up there over the cage bit giving it to the umpires like nothing else with spit coming from his mouth. weslo should of pulled him off and kicked him out.
who would want to be an umpire???????? and they are integral to our game. but it doesn't matter what they do they get abused like nothing else...it's got to be taxing mentally.
