I was impressed with James Gallagher today, especially considering he was a late inclusion and coming back from 4 weeks on the sidelines himself through injury. Had some good moments.

The win puts Norwood 3 games clear of Centrals in more ways than one
127 games played
Norwood 65 wins
Centrals 62 wins

What can one say after todays results.

Only congratulations to go to the Legs after securing top spot in 2012.

Stuffed many SAFooty tipping selections today.

And I think, assisted many others.

Well done Legs. You are the best team in 2012,,, =D>

When was the last time an SANFL club sat 3 games clear at the top of the table.... =D>

Or is this a first.... :D

Further to hand
The injured patron made a refusal to board the stretcher
Ive been now told , he told the Norwood medicos that he didnt want to be treated by them
He said words to the effect that he didnt want the possibility of litigation for any possible further sustained injuries
He was adamant he wanted to be treated by Ambulance officers
So it seems a stand off occurred, hence the reason why it took up to about 30 minutes to resolve

This is only relayed information, and may or not be an accurate description of what happened
It is an unfortunate injury, hopefully the patron gets pain free asap
This could have happened at any ground, and the frequency of 'incidents' occurring more at Norwood oval is prob becoz they draw bigger crowds than most

Ouch! There goes his Olympic dream up in smoke! Was he trying a Sally Pearson impersonation?

Not a nice thing to happen on a day out at the footy so hope he has a full recovery and walks back in to Norwood again one day soon.

Getting back to the footy, super win by the Legs today, impressed by Smart,Grigg and Jeffries. Cant see us dropping too many games when players like Batsanis, Cachia, Donohue, Aish, Jonas and maybe Rodan all return.

What do you think if John Wynne or Macca wouyld have done today if they ran out and saw Centrals doing what they did today before the first bounce. Who in Red, White and blue orchestrated that?

Norwood far too good on the day, Good team performance.
Really liked how some of our younger players held up in a big game.
We have very good depth at the moment.
Love how Webber goes about his football, just gets stuck in

One from the 'where's Spelly when you need him?' files:

When was the last time a team got more disposals, hit outs, clearances (this one comfortably) and inside 50s, took more marks, and laid more tackles, and lost? Let alone lost in circs where they never looked like winning.

I guess a classic case of damned lies & statistics, as those at the ground seem to pretty universally report that Norwood always (except maybe the first 7 minutes and the last 7 minutes) looked the better side.
