Glad you had a good day, look forward to having you back @ Prospect next year, and it would be "shittier than North", and yes they were much much shittier than North!

Thank you grammar check.

on the rails wrote:Your lucky we couldn't kick straight and that your team picked up 3 cheaps goals on the quarter sirens and one other our full back gifted Tennace. Pity Pitt's "goal" for us was only worth 1 point!

I will take 50 point win as "shit" anyday. When you beat us earlier in the year by 6 more points I didn't read our supporters calling Glenelg shit on the day? I think the word "shit" only applies to Glenelg on the day.

I didn't think North were much chop at all. Glenelg we just plainly crap, and to think you could only put us away by 50 points.

And before Ian corrects you it's Tenace.

Just saw the goal kicked by the Bays player at the start of the last to the wrong end, it really was a nice goal!
Good to see the Bays coaching staff found the humour in it too.

The 2 assistants had tears running down their faces, and yes, it would have been a very good goal, no wonder we were confused from the other end

well played North

every time you went into the forward 50 - you looked like scoring. really the 50point margin flattered us, shouldve been double that.

the skills from glenelg and the gameplan are at a deplorable low - almost a replica of the brenton honour days

Trouble was we looked like we were going to score but often wasted it, probably why the margin flattered Glenelg.

I hope that has now broken the "losing to teams below us" hoodoo, now to finally knock off a bottom placed side next week (I hope :? )

Have to agree with that. North were miles in front of Glenelg, particularly in terms of application, no argument there... but North still managed to burn the ball going into their forward 50 a number of times.

Yep - at times we were poor with our first entry into the 50 especially to the Northern end.

I know it wasn't a great performance by the Bays but there is some upside - watching the replay there is some good talent in the youngsters that Massie is trying in particular Kennedy looks very good but sadly for the SANFL / Bays he will get drafted. Big Gill looks like he will be very good in time but he also could go at some stage.

Glenelg looked very unsure and fumbly in defence for all of the game but North's run and pressure was a big contributor in that plus the height all over the ground was a big factor for us. I read with interest pre-game the Bay supporters comments about Kirk being dropped. He normally plays well against North and the Bays could have done with his height - even off the bench as a second ruckman or as another tall option up fwd. Even Francou commented on the telecast that he was surprised by his omission.
