so what, you still need to control the ball. If the ball pops out of your hands in cricket it's not out. It was falling from his hands before he hit the ground anyway. have another look at it.

Yes cricket, that's relevant

I will admit I only saw it with the naked eye but like MABO it had the vibe of a mark ;)

Centurion makes a good point.
A poor response, how about provide an arguement that shows why you think it should be a mark if it spills before hitting the ground...

I saw the leap - umpire is correct and maybe he didn't hold it long enough. On another day it may have been paid but it is all academic now annd wouldnt have made any difference to the result in any case.

Just before I could make it to the Ken Farmer gates after full time, I turned around for a moment to see the Dogs return to the field. Never seen anything like that before... what was that all about?

The opposition rooms are a little cramped for space and they were just going through a warm-down and stretches. Plus, the spray Roy Laird gave them post game would have tore the paint off the wall and made for an unsafe workplace !!!

They also have a new fitness guy, poached from the SANFL Umpires, and he wanted them do some extra warm down excercises as a lot of players were cramping...

Obviously the incident involving Todd Miles and James Boyd has been caught on camera...

I thought I read somewhere it was just under 3.5k because I was disappointed we didn't have the highest crowd 5 weeks in a row?

To be honest the Crowd looked bigger so surprised with that figure, I thought it was close to 4k on the day. Good turn out of Dog fans at Prospect. For some reason even though we are the closest two clubs the crowds are generally average at both grounds especially at Prospect IMHO.

Thought there have been a number of games this year where the crowd figure is quoted much smaller than are really there, is there a benefit to the club to keep their figures low?

I don't trust the SANFL - a good ploy to keep the crowd figures down when certain agendas suit certain negotiations!
