Lots of sooking on Bulldogs Banter, love the comments about the Bays being soft.

The Bays won because they were harder at the ball.

Great endeavour by both sides though, pity skills went out the window.

Gowans boys were well lubricated in the bar after the game.

I'm sure the CDFC and fellow 'Banterers' would equally as enamoured to know that our openly viewed and official forum can still attract a match-day readership among supporters of winning "harder at the ball" opponents. ;)

Seems to be about where the 'dogs, at least, are at for the time being.

I thought I heard someone say that the Dog's side yesterday only had 2 premiership players ... was that right?

If so, unbelievable after the decade they had and the last flag only just over 3 years ago.

1st real victory of the year for the Bays, very relieved to say the least!!! Nick Stevens would want to continue this or he may not have a coaching career in the future.

What about Dutchy he played thats beside the point anyway the problem is the Dogs have no depth as in the the halcyon days betweeen 2000 to 2011.

As i have said previously if you are without two to four experienced players due to injury the team is stuffed especially if its a a new young side and i guess the Bays are in the same predicament.
SANFL 2000 - 2011 Central District 12 consecutive Grand Final appearances and 9 Premierships.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFF.

Hit em hard let them get up and hit em again.

Groucho, seriously, why don't you try to be constructive. During the week We lost Goodrem, Habel, Hoskin & Glenn, probably Our 4 best players so far this year, HUGE holes to fill. When are you going to make an appointment with the coaching staff, so you can offer your advice?

Completely agree. When Centrals have their best side they can compete with the best of them. Take a few out and we are in trouble. I wasn't bothered with the result yesterday. I thought we were going to lose by about 5 goals. I was impressed with some of the young guys. That was probably the least experienced side we have fielded in 15 years. We have to be realistic about what they can do.

Serious question downspine, have you selected the wrong team in your profile?

OK, Centurion I know you like to be positive, I'll try.

The Coaching staff are far more qualified than me, I'm just a long time supporter/member who lived through the dark days of the club and doesn't want those days to return.
