There always has been a bit of angst between South and Glenelg over the years...both on the field and off of it..There were a few unsavoury incidents on Sunday, and the tribunal dealt with them fairly in my opinion, given the evidence available.
For Glenelg to effectively lay a charge against one of our players. who was not initially cited by the tribunal, they must have new evidence,ie "a smoking gun"...this will only add a bit more spice to the next time these two teams meet.

No doubt. But so will sniping a bloke behind play.
Alleway was dumb, but the incident never happens if the obvious free kick is paid just seconds earlier. Incredible it wasn't paid, but alleway's hit was far from incredible.

Well"far from incredible" is an interesting way to describe it. The tribunal deemed it was significant enough to award a 3 match penalty.

Ironic comment after the way Alleyway got an early goal the week before!

Perhaps "far from unpredictable" may have been a better choice of words

Struggle to remember, he kicked so many early ones last week!

Just viewed the footage in the Recovery Session - no conclusive video of contact, so will be interesting to see what evidence Glenelg have reportedly provided. As as for those saying the alleged incident happened 10m off the ball, seemed not that far away from where the ball was in the footage. Did not see it live, was watching through a viewfinder on a camera, but quite a few of the crowd were abusing Eddy as the wrongdoer yet he doesn't appear to be anywhere near it.

Any idea what happened on the interchange wing with Liddle and Cross reacting to something by a Tigers' player?

And what was with the Channel 7 camera being out on the oval in the middle of the melee after Alleway's incident? Would hate to see a player pushed or flung out of a dust up hit the camera - they should not have been on the oval while the game was in progress.
