What are the SANFL going to do with that financial windfall?

Curious anyone know what the NRL give for sling tackles?

Not even a penalty.

Read the full report
James Gallagher was given a $200 fine AND a knighthood !
If those spineless, useless arseholes are the only 3 people on the planet that do not realize how disgraceful their performance was in the first half then they should just stop taking money for a job they are totally unqualified to perform.
Totally lost control of that game and all 3 should not umpire at top level again this year. They are not men so have no idea how to control men. Take up netball umpiring you 3 !

I can only assume people are confusing sling tackles with spear tackles?

Don't blame Ken Mc that culture has been with North a long time and thrived with Jarman.
Nunan and Patterson were the only coaches who could control that culture ..... and look at the results they achieved !!!!!!

Cobblers
Francou had them playing as a team last year. Culture starts with the coach

It sort of starts with the coach but in my opinion it actually starts with the CEO/president both these positions and the coach need to be preaching the same message for the players to buy into a culture.

Don't agree. The CEO / Chairman are not in daily contact with the players like the coach. If anything their responsibility lies with not dealing with the coach, which might be a little premature to condemn before seasons end.

The CEO certainly had a hand in influencing the coach in not having Alleway and Allan back in preference to the big $$$ dished out to 3 and half recruits - (half being Kilikowlski) and the main 3 have each had one good game for the whole season and all 3 much more active and diligent to efforts off field.

What's all that got to do with North's on (and off) field discipline? I'd lay that at the coach's doorstep

I'd argue that any organisation has it's culture ( a word I dislike using in football terms ) driven from the very top. If the CEO of a football club is out of touch with the coach and the players then,IMO, the whole club is in trouble.
