I think I'm right in saying that Sturt have never been investigated for salary cap breaches. We've been well below the cap for many years having been used to living in the financial equivalent of the Sahara Desert.

The point of my batman post was just to point out how easy it is to get something that maybe flog started.

At the end of the day we all know board members and seem to drink alot of coffee.

I know, it seems like all the kiddies like using it all of a sudden, together with "cracking".
Anyway, no need to get all defensive about your team, let's just see what happens.
Also very interesting to note that the new boss of the AFL, Gollum, said to one & all at a recent meeting involving board members from the SANFL clubs, if the SANFL get in the way of the AFL that they "will crush them."
That's the spirit!

That's an understandable thing to say given the fierce resistance the SANFL have displayed against the AFL until now I guess.

I understand that had something to do with the Adelaide Oval and the AFL clubs being unhappy with their stadium deals.

Salary Cap hasn't even been lodged yet, so even if we were in breach it couldn't be known yet

Stole my thunder JK, a simple phone call this morning to the SANFL to ask if the paperwork had been lodged for any club confirmed this.

Fixed that for you for when you're in the Norwood area.

Right, so Norwood cheated the salary cap three years in a row and the new AFL boss threatened to "crush" the SANFL in a recent meeting with SANFL board members.

Sounds like your source is a ******* wanker who is blowing smoke up his own arse.

I can't vouch for the NFC rumour, but I have heard the claim about the AFL boss.
Why would you be so quick to say that's not true, Booney?

Reports to the contrary.
