No curtain raiser was scheduled, which made for a very strange atmosphere when we turned up about 12.30pm to set up radio gear.

Not surprised that down the road M/Vale v Reynella had a larger crowd.

Cause it was a stand alone game on a Sunday

You can watch the incident there.

Doesn't look remotely like there's anything in it

Given someone on the Incident Review Panel managed to convince themselves that contact was "high", "careless" and "medium impact" I suspect there's a few like-minded people on the Incident Review Panel.

Will be a ridiculous suspension if he does get the two weeks for it.

Think you will find that Sam Overall was concussed and helped from the field by trainers, and post game was going to have scans on his jaw and is in doubt this week.

That's a raised left elbow to the face well after Overall has disposed of the ball............. should have been given at least 5 weeks.

Got off after appealing last night. The footage was fairly inconclusive. Overall wasn't in great shape when coming to the bench, very groggy.

Hard to say if the elbow was raised or not. Definitely caught him front on, most likely with the purpose of taking him out of the running links up play. I'd say he was hit high probably with a shoulder square on the jaw, just looking at the positioning of their bodies in the clash, there's a remote chance that there's an elbow there, but the video evidence is inconclusive.
I wouldn't go near Wedgie when he has a snooker cue in his hand however.
