Actually it was a Norwood supporter that brought it up to upset the Eagles fans, don't those 2 teams play off in the Ressies Prelim this week?
Might see some colour/happenings in the outer perhaps?

mate I totally agree, it's easy for other supporters to throw stones, but as the saying goes
"those who live in stone houses should not throw stones"

Bottom line is their are 7 other clubs that would love to of played in the GF's that the eagles won the right to play in, their are 7 other clubs that in those particular loses would of lost the GF as well

just because you lose a final to a better side it does not make you a chocker and it does not mean that you don't deserve to be there

problem is the eagles have ran in to a side and a club that have created a rare dynasty

I think that whoever wins the prelim is a huge chance. I think that things worked against North. The Eagles just had a shocker. The gap is not as big as in previous years. Anything can happen. Mind you I still view the dogs as clear favs. Despite the losses O sullivan, Thomas, Wilson and the young Westhoffs are very good players.

Except if it was back in the day of the Flintstones. They made their homes not just from stones, but boulders, and as anyone will tell you, that's a whole world of difference. You could chuck a brontosaurus-load of stones onto a boulder-constructed home and the effect would be nil. So, I hope that has made you rethink your argument.

I THINK NOT!

Well reading the posts this week you may been either down 4 or playing 4 unfit players when you play the EAGLES as well.

I didnt think that NORTH lost 4 quality players before the bounce, I was informed on the wednesday leading up to the centrals game that 3 of those players wouldnt be in and there was one which was a 50-50

I don't know, but we lost 6 players with over 600 games experience between them before the season started, have a captain who has played 2 games this year (that might be over-estimating) and lost a key defender to a knee injury early in the season. To counter this we regained 2 former players from the AFL and introduced 2 recruits. Yet we still made the grand final :)

At least we made the finals and contest them, year after year.
Just that Central are playing better football during the same period.

What the heck is the point of making the finals year after year if you're going to get embarrassed on the big stage? If you’re satisfied with getting there and doing no damage, your club is in trouble.

I'd rather be making the finals year in year out rather than sitting watching from home come september every year.

Whatever mate, have fun being an embarrassment every year. Biggest pretenders ever.

Actually, the most embarrasing thing I can remember in SANFL in the past two decades were Norwood's zip up lycra guernseys.

Nothing embarassing about making grand finals and losing them to a bloody good side - otherwise we'd be embarrassed too considering we lost two in a row to Port, while others were too during that period.

Not Happy Eags - Passador has joined lindsay in kicking into a centrals player on the mark ten metres in front. How can this happen? The game changed after that.

A policeman caught a Woodville West Torrens supporter climbing
the wall at Adelaide Oval last week against Centrals.
The policeman made him go back and watch the rest of the game!
