Definitely over the top eagleye. You don't have to agree with everything everyone says ALL of the time and with 3 posts to your name your credibility is pretty low. Constructive criticism is one thing, but you've chosen to target the man and not the ball. At least he is passionate about his club, the comp and this site.
In this case I would have to say it is not about whether you are a Wedgie supporter or not, it's a matter of whether you are a supporter of the comp and this site. You might support the comp and clearly you support the eagles, but comments like this - whoever they may be directed at on the site - are not what I want to see.
My assessment of the site is that it is about a cameraderie of SANFL football followers who have a healthy rivalry (and in many cases, a healthy friendship) with one another, but who nonetheless see the competition as being bigger than individual rivarlries. Mutual respect at the end of the day.
Maybe SA Footy users can look forward to seeing you at the 2006 GF with a $5 top from T-Shirt city emblazoned with "Eagleye - SA Footy" - Front and Back. If you wanna be that personal, you have to be prepared to be personal yourself and identify yourself to give even a tinge of credibility to the comments.
For what its worth, my name is Chris and I'm a Norwood supporter. I've only got a tick over 100 posts, including a few bad ones myself, but seriously - 3 posts and you come out with that? That's akin to learning to french kiss with your sister!
