According to a club CEO (Sue from Sturt) speaking on 5AA the increase was mainly justified on rising inflation adding to costs of staging games.
A couple of clubs expressed concern, but indicated that the move had broad support.

Sue from Sturt would not care …. Affluent suburb of Unley.

It’s the working class/lower social economic suburbs that are going to suffer.

All the SANFL clubs voted on it

Voted ON it yes.

Voted FOR it no.

Glenelg used to include it in memberships however the SANFL now provide no discount to the club for the digital pass so they would just be passing on the cost to members ($90) - thus they’ve dropped it.

Central offer it within their membership options.

Which would mean your membership would be about $90 dearer?

Only $60; must be a discount somewhere.
$275 with the digital pass; $215 without.

Pretty good value for both clubs, particularly considering the increased gate cost.

Matt Rose has stood down as South Captain. Has had a horror run of injuries since taking it on.

Also thinking fixture must be finalised as trial games are being programmed.

Agree, we found out a week ago who we’re playing trial games against.

Perhaps a well placed phone call to an upcoming SANFL senior manager is in order. Brodlach over to you.
