I don't think South needs to say any more than they have. It's their concern and South don't have to tell other clubs' members anything.

well i have several mates that play down at the club and now i understand why they are on the contracts they are.

what SOUTH have done could be a dangerous precendent and any player could get screwed in similar circumstances at any club.

As a gifted and talented player with AFL experience I'm sure that the club and the supporters expected a great deal more from him in 2006 than what he offered. Stats gurus will point to the fact that he kicked 50+ goals for the year. The problem is that he probably kicked 30 of those goals against Sturt and West who with the greatest respect ,provided only moderate opposition ,especially when he booted 11 against Sturt.

Will agree with you on that one Blueandwhite. If he'd been even more selfish that day against Sturt, he could have ended up kicking 18.
Looked in his best knick fitnesswise way back in January when I played cricket against him.

Why is it so vitally important to you to have knowledge of the inside workings of a rival club?

IIRC correctly we had a close game in 84 just before the finals which we won to keep them out of them at Adelaide oval

We all question the CAP, but apart from Prendegast, Bennett, Parry who would be the big salary earners down there, Kenna would be after more now, Archard come over as an unknown but really who are the big money earners down there now that Cupido has been minced. i think if we are going down that wrong path as there a few clubs with bigger pay roles
