I doubt he's leaving. He wouldn't have signed that 2-year contract if he had intentions on playing AFL next season. He would've only gone for a 1-year deal.

According to a source pretty close to him he's not interested in the AFL and the subsequent drop in income that would accompany it ... Pretty sure you'll see him at Alberton for a while still yet mate.

It's not necessarily SANFL match payments, you have to factor in the non-professional nature of our comp allows them to have additional employment ... I agree with your comments though and would imagine it's only a matter of time before the AFLPA lobby to have the minimum contract remuneration increased, something the AFL would no doubt endorse as we all know their thoughts toward our salary cap
