can i say North, or is it illegal to be underwhelmed by the host overhyped team in the league

Not that I think it will happen, but christ, the Rosot will go into meltdown if that looks like happening, Gawd, there is enough "vigorous debate" on there now for not doing better over the last couple of years, if they slipped out of the five or worse got a wooden trophy that gun that Punky has aimed at my avatar could come into use!!!!

As I said I don't think it will happen though....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

41% suggest Sturt, yet Sturt looked pretty good in their belting of the Eagles last weekend!

It wont be Sturt I am positive about that. Sturt will play finals again this year.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Yes Sturt would have to be fairly big favourites for the spoon. Some promising youngsters, but cant see them making the finals for at least another 2 or 3 years.

They remind me a bit of NA during Darel Hart's 2nd coaching reign.

Sturt will not finish bottom this year NOR are they likely to make the finals.

The prediction of no finals for three years is perhaps a little cynical. I am confident we will be back giving the competitions best a run for their money in 2008, after having a competitive year in 2007.

You will have to earn victory over the DB's this coming season whereas last year the opposition merely had to roll up for the two points (unless of course you were Westies and the opposite applied!). Might I add the Bloods will be no pushovers either.....

Certainly wont be Westies. Sturt would be $1.01 on Tab sportsbet if they did a market and I think that would be good odds to take.

either Sturt or West.

one has a crap squad but a good coach.

the other has some new talent but is coached by a man who thinks looking like a pirate is still looked on as cool.

I would hardly suggest a squad containing the likes of Chambers, Coad, Sheedy, Nelson, Whiteman, Feast, Weatherald, McLeay and O'Keefe, not to mention some blue ribbon youngsters such as Button, Wark and McDonald would be described (as you so eloquently put it) as 'Crap'

Lacking in depth, vulnerable to injury and a little inexperienced would perhaps be a tad closer to the mark.

Having said that I am enjoying having everyone write us off completely before the year has even started. One can only hope a few players from opposing clubs are thinking the same thing.....

Certainly not crap. The word you want is "weak". Really weak. Easily the weakest team I've seen all year. etc.

I don't really think Sturt will be weak this year. They massively underachieved last year and I think that with a simple attitude change the squad will be competitive, thought maybe not finalists.

Interesting from a CD supporter

Slattery was no superstar at westies but falls straight into your seniors and gets second best, from a team that has griffen & giles and if they go to their respective AFL clubs which is a possibily is left with Buckets Mckenzie as the rucks. dont get ahead of yourself sir and the trial in two weeks will be interesting at richmond

True Slattery not a superstar for west just came 3rd in your B&F last year.

Commane Hamblyn and Cragg-sapsford now they are true SANFl superstars. Everyone keep your eyes on West. Cos if Slattery came 2nd best for Centrals in a trial match with 10 regulars out. It makes sense that West are on the improve.

Dont want to say you are getting desperate dash but that is some weird logic mate.

West Adelaide supporters lecturing about lack of ruck options. Absolutely Hilarious!!!!!
