If you ask any central person,who they think have contributed the most over the past 7 years,they would say the Gowans.They would be in the top ten most skillfull players in the sanfl. I think some people get about their skill because they are too busy having a go at them.They are definately NOT over-rated. Every club would have taken them if they had the chance.

I rate the Gowans boys, I am not sure if they would of had the same affect on the comp if they played at different clubs, but as a package they have been outstanding for the CDFC

My best recruit is without Question Danny Hume, he turned boys into men, under his captaincy, players would go to war with this guy, Danny's legacy has played a crucial role in building the foundations the clubs success

Can't argue with that. If Central think they are overrated they are welcome at North :) They are a bit like Port. They are hated for very similar reasons. They are tough, hard, uncompromising and very very successful.
