im thinking the $3m is the money they spent on the salary cap last year and now cupido's gone, more money to spend on other things

More accurately the $3m was what they had to spend on pies to feed Cupido

Yes i was shaking in my boots at the rise of The Panthers....but then realized it was me still shivering at the though of standing in an inch of mud looking into a 80km gale and the complaint of my kid at home as I cant take him without him setting soaked and covered in mud.The place is an embarrasment .Yes my beloved home ground isnt a blue square on the monopoly board but yours is a circus ground at best .

Look....At the end of the day the place is the biggest hole that is called a football ground ( excluding playing surface) with the worst conditions, the worst PA system, paying 5 bucks to park in a paddock, and the players get to prep for the game in public toilet size rooms.

Sorry SAFC, you need to improve.

PS...Dont bite back, just look at the attendances over the years and it says it all......A HOLE!

Give me Noarlunga over Unley any day.

Plus Noarlunga has the best choice of food at any ground, plenty of (and easy) car parking, its easy to get around, its easy to get a beer. The rooms are no smaller than most other grounds. If you don't want to pay $5 to park nearby you can pay nothing to park at Colonnades which is all of 2 minutes walk around.

Easy to say when you live as close as you do Wedgie  The reason why it so easy to get food and drink at Noarlunga is because there are rarely any significant crowds. It's cold and windy and very uninviting. I'll travel anywhere to watch North but can't say i ever look forward to the trip down South. I agree Unley is crap as well but i don't have to travel as far to get there so i have to say i prefer it to Noarlunga.

The development might improve the place though so good luck to South. I really hope it does make significant improvements and helps increase crowd numbers which will in turn improve the atmosphere at Polar Park.

If you call less than a half hour out of town far then so be it, its lucky you dont live in a larger city.
It takes me longer to get to Prospect than it would someone from town to Noarlunga so there can be no whinge about that.
Give me the Expressway over that dog of a road Main North Rd to get to Elizabeth any day.
I wasn't just talking about how easy it is to get food but the choice, easily the best out of any SANFL ground.
The Bays closer to me, proximity to me has nothing to do with my rating of a ground. Unley's probably about the 3rd closest to me sure as hell doesn't mean I'll rate it.
I have to travel further to the Telstra Dome than I do Elizabeth but doesn't mean I'm going to prefer Elizabeth.
Proximity isn't an issue anywhere in Adelaide unless you're driving a Holden, then it might as Im not sure of the RAA's reaction times these days.

The real issue is that South have not won a premiership since 1964 (in fact that was their first since 1938) - so that's one premiership in 68 years which is an absolute disgrace. Why don't they try and buy one of them (oh that's right they did try to and got caught).

They need a cult hero down there, they used to get great crowds when Danny Delrae lined up at full forward, hasn't been on player down there with an ounce of personality since.

Pie in the sky.

No need. Just run over it with a feather duster every decade or two and it will look as good as it did the last time is was opened.

Hey R2D2 oops 870 your should update your ID it should be PAMFC1997. Remember, Bucky took all your history etc to the AFL, just ask the little Weasel, I mean M Rucci. Tell us all again about your 246 years of history and 85 premierships, we didn't hear you the first 1,000 times.

And they wonder why no one else likes their club!
