Fascinating game to watch, despite the umpires. Once again they were deplorable for both sides - has Williams umpired every Centrals game this season (feels like it).

Scrappy football for a lot of the first half, with the dogs trying to stamp some authority on the game - unsuccessfully for the most part. Lots of discipline errors - stupid free kicks, dumb 25m penalties, a 'double' goal and lots of game plan breaches.

The second half was a lot better with the dogs midfielders starting to take more control, was good to see O'Sullivan contributing in his first game for the season. Lawry was a little disappointing until the game was won. Gowans boys seem to be able to return from 'agro land' every time which is a good thing.

The last 15-20 minutes was devastating footy, not many teams could stop a run such as that one.

First time I have seen McGuiness (spelling?) for the legs, very impressive and eye catching. Had too few mates in the end.

CP - I went looking for you mate, couldn't find you anywhere on the hill. And I wasn't going to yell out CONSTANCE PERM - I am sure you understand. Have to have that beer another time.

Wedgie - glad someone finally joined you in this thread, you must have been lonely for a while there!

I thought Norwood looked really good at times, just struggled for fitness and the dogs harder players finally got on top - they have been doing it for years and can grind other teams down who aren't used to playing that way every week.

Personally, I would think Hill is adding value, but I don't watch Norwood every week so will leave it to those that do to pass real judgement.

It wasn't his worst coaching performance tonight, still some questionable decisions though. He's not flash.

NW 6-5
CD 5-5

2 goals to NW in the same passage the 2nd goal without going back to the centre

NW 8-5
CD 5-5

CD was rattled one of the Gowans boys gave away the freebie ???
Ball goes back to the centre and a free to CD[against Gallagher ????}
shortly after Gallagher gets dragged[at a time he was playing well]
CD kick 3 goals in a row

That was the turning point as CD got back into the game by 1/2 time

Should Gallagher have been dragged :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

LAST QTR

NORWOOD KICK A GOAL 5 MINUTES INTO THE LAST QTR
NW 13-9
CD 13-10

CD kick the next 10-1 unanswered
I and a group of Legs supporters clapped the CD footballers off the ground
I am still gasping from that amazing burst of football

NW 13-9
CD 23-11 :prayer: :prayer: :prayer:

Also good to see OSULLIVAN back in the team, what a player

John PRATT made his debut for the legs
He is the son of Mike Pratt the politicain :?:

will someone explain to me why during the 2nd quarter when norwood appeared to have central rattled especially from gallagher that norwood took him off for a rest, i know they have their rotations etc but when a bloke is going great & having his opponents not focussing on the game, why take him off ? oh by the way he didn't have the same influence on his return to the ground

i'm glad they did though as i backed central at the 1.50
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

BAYMAN
I think GALLAGHER gave a free kick in the middle and perhaps
was taken off by the coach for discipline :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:
He was in good form when dragged
I agree I saw WA give PORPLYCIA a rest against ST and that
cost WA a lot of momentum as well

Just another reason to **** off Interchange rotations and limit them
to about a dozen for injuries only
Its stoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooopid how we drag good players
who are playing well to rest them up

BAYMAN good shopping $1-50 for the Minor premier versus the Wooden Spooner favourites

I was with agroup of Norwood barrackers
About 3 of us clapped the Central Districts football team as they came off the ground.

NFC we might have run outa steam, but lets applaud this team of the millenuim
for one of the most dazzling exhibitions of football Ive seen in a long time

Watching West Coast + Centrals + Geelong last week[35 goals] re-enforces why I
go out and watch football and enjoy the game.

NFC do not despair the Norwood Footy Club will be a force AGAIN in the future
Lets just admire the CDFC in the mean time

Were the dogs that good?
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

You’ve got to be kidding yourself if you think I will clap off a team I despise that has just beaten my team. I was sitting there shattered, and yet I should get my hands together and applaud the Dogs? DREAMING.

And we are still years and years away from becoming a force. YEARS.

I agree NFC you shouldnt clap us off.
Centrals were poor for 3 quarters last night but we flicked the switch and smashed an average outfit, would like to see a solid 4 quarter effort. Love beating Norwood, a club who believe they are an sanfl power  Spent many years going to the Parade and coppoing s*** from there mob and it's enjoyable to now see them having to endure such a rabble! 2 Premierships in 25 years surely doesnt make you a power house club but i guess if you include all those you won back when the players were wearing top hats and knicker bockers then you can try and label your self a Power house but excuse me if i have a giggle!

I thought it was a great game of footy (except for the umpiring). Norwood showed alot of fight and spirit in the first 3 quarters, and central werent that bad either. Alot of fumbling by both sides, but that was due to the pressure.

At 3 quarter time i was thinking how either side would be unlucky to lose because they were both so committed, but before i could blink the dogs just showed how awesome a team they are.

Norwood were not bad, in fact i thought they played better than we did for 3 quarters, they certainly have something to work with in the future. As for the dogs well what can you say , bring on the wharfies.

Well he said years dopey. And if you think Norwood considers themselves a powerhouse then you should step outside your little world, smell some flowers and actually read what people post. Norwood are clearly rebuilding a team and a club at the moment and thats clear as F****** day, everybody knows that, but if you want to live in your own little world, you probably even convince yourself that having 10 different usernames on a forum makes you superior. Isnt that right GC?

Interesting summation indeed by G8
The CD awesome foursome midfield of
J GOWANS/C GOWANS/OSULLIVAN/CALLINAN is going to propel you to another flag
Those 4 guys are simply brilliant players and all have something in common.

I heard some CD supporters criticise the Norwood Football Club last night
I went one better, I told them how good Centrals were
The tide will turn one day.....
