Must have been watching a different game redleg ?

Must have. Bentley's disposal was ordinary and it was a similar story with Summerton.

From what I have seen this year SUMMERTONs disposal by foot is very very good.

I think Unley is growing on me as it was an awesome atmosphere and a great brand of footy to watch today. Well done Sturt, great day!

Who got arrested / what was the incident after the game on the road behind the cheersquads?

Saw the cops fly past on the way back to the car and when we drove past saw a blues fan being held by police and a lot of abuse from both sets of fans.

Shame to have crowd trouble get out of hand and ruin such a great SANFL spectacle.

Edit - Saw Maccas post on the other thread - allegedly a Westies fan throwing a punch at a female? WTF?

from when i saw it, 3 or 4 weslo's had 2 guys outside pinned down, a couple of the security guards where laying into one bloke, who's wife/gf tried to get them off him, then the guy in Westies gear started swinging at her, im pretty sure one did connect.

My best
ST
BENTLEY
GUM
EVANS
NELSON
FEAST
special mention to my mate Sampson CHAMBERS who continues to stand 2-3 guys at times.

PA
SUMMERTON
J CLAYTON

Turning point

PA 6-3
ST 3-0

Gum for a 50/50 set shot, Jeremy Clayton gives away the 25 or 50 mtr penalty
for a indiscretion off the ball
Gum goals

PA 6-7
ST 9-2

6 unawnswered goals.....
JC played very well was BOG until that happened.

UMPIRING
Clearly the decisions went Ports way in the first half
The 2nd half was even

Better team on the day won

no mal you got the turning point wrong the turning point was when ben nelson was moved onto j.clayton & shut him out of the game as he was bog in the first term & only sighted in patches after that & as i posted somewhere it is the best coaching move i've seen this year
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Couldn't believe Ginever benched Clayton late in the first term after he made a simple mistake. Up until then he was running riot and Port were in control. Almost at the precise moment Clayton came off the momentum changed for the rest of the day. MAybe coincidence? Maybe Ginever couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag.

I think it must of been the team rule that if you give away a 50m penalty you automatically come off the ground.
