incorrect macca..

so missing,

waterhouse
ebert
poulton
butcher
eichner
greenwood
lokan
your saying having theses players missing is close to a full strength side.????????????

If these guys are 7 of your best 21, that makes it 1/3 of your team, which 7 from saturdays side would you drop???????
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Heard from port fans that Jenner and slattery have been playing well lately but saw that miller got a pasting from TPFP site. Lees is young, will be a good player in the future.

I think you guys are just playing below yourselves, your team has the talent and the 'names' but just not playing well. The ebert you say, is that brett?, if so, we can count chaplin then ;)

WOuld it be fair to say Sticks stayed a season to long.

Only because Macgowan hasnt arrived at Sturt fc with a bagful of recruits. He has just brought on some kids but look at the difference in the side in one preseason.

Rumours were Sturt wanted to pay out Sticks contract last year but couldnt afford it at the time.

don't know what your sources are but Sticks wanted last season to be his last as senior coach it just got to the point that it wasn't worth it and they agreed to part ways

Jarjoura played 2nds and from what I saw (which was only the last 1/4) didn't show a lot. I enjoyed his flair at times last year but there's no way that a player of his mind set would fit in with the well drilled and disciplined culture MacGowan is building.

On another note, how long can Feasty and Nelson go on for? These guys have wound back the clock in incredible fashion this year. We really need to look at the ruck situation we'll be faced with when Feasty calls it a day. The work he does around the ground as well as the leadership he shows the younger guys will be sorely missed.
