Congratulations to Chambers. Good to see a full forward topping the ton again. Probably a good thing for Sturt it was done before the finals. Has he kicked 10 in a game this year? If not,l has it ever been achieved before within someone bagging 10?

I wasa thinking it's a good thing that he did it today and not next week.

Congratulations to him too. A great achievement. Even though Sturt were getting hammered by the Bays, he still got up and kicked 4 or 5. Great job Chambers.

Well done, however he could be a much better player if he put on some defensive pressure on when Sturt havent got the ball, our run out of defence was great today, thanks partly to Chambo's lack of effort

the crowd running on the oval was OK but of course poorly handled by security (or lack of)

Funny thing was the Sturt fans changing their calls from Go Blues to Go Chambo during the 3rd 1/4!!!!

WTF was with Soderstrom running on the ground trying to get an interview? What a joke. Interviewing a guy during play while his side is 8 goals down  Seriously it was just stupid.

I thought the same thing. Once the mob had left there was only one and he had a microphone in his hands, what a joke! Hutchie of the SANFL.

This opposition fan offers sincere congratulations to Mr. Chambers. A hundred-goal season is good for him and good for Sturt, but also Good For Football (tm).

FWIW I reckon Sammy Rudolph had the better of him again. Chambers was really kept to a minimum of chances. The best that can be said for him is that he does make the most out of his chances. Testament to the guy's year that he can be well held yet still dob 5.

Hopefully he gets the 100 this week, because it of course is the TV game.

Chambers creates history
The first man in this millenuim to score a ton
Gives the ST footy club a record 5 centurions for a club in the SANFL

Simply sensational
Would be great if he could win a Magarey Medal as well ?

This is a great advertisement for SA football
It shows that SANFL clubs play a more attacking positive game than the AFL, which
in turn gives a player a greater opportunity to kick a 100 goals.
SANFL = trying to win a game, not saving a game

Congrats to CHAMBO
And well done for working at his kicking for goal which was very iffy early in his career

Did SturtPeter run out on the oval to give him a hug?

Bit harsh saying he lacked defensive pressure and got done by Rudolph again. Wasn't he under an injury cloud? You'd take 5 from a man underdone anyday I'd reckon.....

If Rudolph had the better of Chambo, then why didn't he stop him from kicking the 5 goals that Chambo needed for the ton?
I'd say Chambo had the better of Rudolph!
Anyone got Rudolph's stats? Did he do better than 3 marks, 6 kicks for 5 goals?
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.

Rudolph had 5 kicks, 4 handballs and 2 marks, I thought Rudolph did play quite well, he wears Chambo very close but Chambo was good enough to get away on a few occasions to mark inside 50

and yeh 5 goals anyday on anyone is a good effort

Well done Chambers. The way modern footy is played, usually with multiple goal scorers, a ton is a great effort. :)
