perhaps if central fans travelled to Unley then they could have something to complain about. Comfort zones, bingo nights and afl are all just excuses. Bottom line is we outnumber you at the 2002 gf both in numbers and in voice. We look forward to doing it again this year with the same result......... hopefully.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Centrals get a poor turn out to Prospect most times of late and that is the closest Oval to Elizabeth and a real football ground as well! So what is the excuse for not going to Unley - maybe the masses don't like being squashed up on one side dodging Take Away Caravans, Play Equipment and BBQ's. It has as much atmosphere as a big family re-union at a local Park, just exactly what Unley Oval is - a big play park.

The play equipment doesn't move BPBRB. Not that difficult to dodge, even for Dog's fans.
It must be something else. :-k

Ah yes! They don't move either, but cleverly position themselves close to the ground, waiting to attach themselves to the soles of passing shoes. This is how they multiply I am led to believe.

Back to Centrals V Sturt talk. I thought that some might appreciate this:

Certainly a highlight in 2007 thus far. Winning at Hamra would be even sweeter.

I'm not sure what your family reunions are like (though i’m guessing bitter and full of whinging) but i'll bet they don’t have this kind of atmosphere: http://youtube.com/watch?v=dcV3N4b-ExU

That was a great game of footy, could have gone either way. I thought it was 50:50 with crowd numbers at Unley - and the Doggies fans were a credit to their club. Unlike what I've experienced from Port fans twice this year.

Back to the topic - this Sat night deserves a huge turn out. Potentially the game of the season...

I honestly do not think that I have ever been to a game in the last twenty years where Sturt supporters have outnumbered Central supporters: at Elizabeth, Unley or anywhere else.
There were definitely more Central supporters than Sturt supporters at the 2002 GF. This was despite the Sturt attendance virtually doubling after halftime when they thought they had a chance of winning!
Cheers
