Think he was on the Swans list at some stage, maybe?
Either way, I've heard BIG wraps on him

The wind was in our back standing at the Taj, bizarre considering that was the scoring end all dayBig Phil wrote:Wedgie wrote:Nice quarter. Bit of breeze there BP?
Maybe a little bit to the Taj end, the way the Roosters kicked that term. Looks a little bit swirly, though.

Yep - Sydney Swans.
Stuey Dew told his good mate Francou about him and the Roosters swooped !!!

Superior to the Eagles in clearances, speed and skills and ominous signs of a pretty ordinary season coming up for the Eagles. The lack of planning in failing to fill the gaps left by departing midfielders is hurting the Eagles - Ciccollela, Shirley and Crows listed Knights were obviously in their last seasons in 2012 and with Rowntree injured at present, we have only two functioning midfielders Powell and Lewis when you need 6-7 to stay alive.
Surely they will have to get Byron Sumner out of the back pocket and into the midfield.
An APY Lands indigenous player in the Reserves Nelson Peters showed forward line skills and pace, only lightly built, but could add exciting pace to a very slow team compared to the two teams South and North that we've played in the trials

Apart from the workrate / effort not being there after quarter time, the Leadership of this team since 2011 just isn't good enough and if that one point can not improve and drag more consistency out of players like Goldsworthy, Staple, Day, Lewis, Raymond & Lane, then mediocrity is a given.
The captain and vice captain are simply not getting their troops to dig in and follow as per the coaches instructions! This we have heard now for two weeks straight, plus most of last season when it was obvious the start of 0-5 was mainly caused between the players ear's.

Very concerned that we are heading for a start similar to last year. During pre-season last year we looked sluggish and lack-lustre - very similar to how we are travelling right now. We carried this form into the season early last year and it was costly. Godden needs to blast these guys. I don't care if it is a trial. No point having guys like Day, Sumner Goldsworthy only coming good by mid-year. It is too late by that stage. The really good sides hit the ground running from Round 1. As was pointed out earlier, our midfield looks very average at the moment. No use having good forward targets in Ainger and Grocke if the ball can't be delivered up there. Unfortunately I think our fortunes this season will be directly correlated to matches when Kane Mitchell is available to us. However I expect him to play 2/3 of the season with the Power so not sure we'll see a lot of him. However I think we'll see a bit of Petrenko though as he is not up to AFL standard but will be an asset at SANFL level. Still, not good to be relying on AFL lads. This season will be critical for Godden's future IMO
