has only been upgraded due to salter injury. Watched the PTV interview with mitchell on being upgraded and by the sounds of it doesn't expect to be on the snr too long as salter is already back training.

His average goals per game was third for adelaide, behind Tippett and walker. Averaged twelfth in the league, you're a good judge.
I hope you're right though, callinan would be a massive "recruit" for us.

Good player at SANFL level, won the 2010 GF off his own boot but not up to AFL standard against strong opposition or finals. His stats are good only against weak teams.
Simon Phillips was not up to AFL standard either.
Crouch is a far better option at this point in time.

I beg to differ, Callinan (Wingnut)did win the 2010 GF for Centrals off his own boot

But in the 2012 GF, Crouch was very ineffectual for the Blood & Tars

I would pick Ian Callinan to kick a goal for my life before Crouch any-day, that's what its all about for any forward.

Well done Central, 6 players made their league debut, not a bad effort PLUS West had Cassisi, Gray & Crouch, 3 pretty handy AFL players. Another reason why the Crows & Power need a reserves side away from the SANFL.
Sad We lost but lots of good things will come from the game, the season looks very promising, especially with some very good players still coming back through the reserves.
