Come dressed a pokie machine or someone affiliated with Port or the Crows, they'll kiss your arse until North's next premiership, or the end of time (whichever comes first). ;)

SANFL is a rip off

Was it the one against Barossa!!!

How good is there broadcasts, it's brilliant

Yes it was. Both my cousins play for Elizabeth. Always enjoy heading out there when North have a bye... Sorry split round. Always make me feel welcome there, more than at prospect to be honest. :(

Nice I play for Barossa

The atmosphere and welcoming of clubs to spectators and oppposition is always first class in Union especially at Elizabeth

As an Eagles supporter, it's great that our club has partnered with Pickles & Bonz to bring the fans Eagles Radio for our home games. I've never had a drop-out when listening via Mixlr when I can't get to the ground and the live radio coverage at the ground on 88.3FM is crystal clear. Pickles & Bonz are also very passionate and knowledgeable commentators, they know the players and also add humour to the call. I'm not sure why the SANFL or other clubs haven't followed the Eagles on this? Why haven't the SANFL asked Pickles & Bonz to do other games when the Eagles are not playing?

Good call, interesting that a lot of country leagues now have radio coverage of games, but the SANFL can't/don't

Agreed.
Maybe with smaller finals crowds the SANFuL and clubs will get the message.
We shall see.
Eagles ahead of the pack.

Trying to see the Elimination Final replay now on 7Plus, and under the Norwood v Central title they have only the Port v Sturt game. Anyone accidentally find this game somewhere else?

One of, if not the most knowledgeable SANFL commentator, Chris Kendall, doesn't get a gig with the stream team calling any of the SANFL finals.

Any of those who run the stream team care to explain why?

Great point Booney, if he is available and wants to do it, should just about be first choice.

Instead we had Andrew Marks doing one game, no dis respect, but hopeless. Centrals player kicks it forward, picked up by Norwood, handballs to Norwood player - learn the names for gods sake!

Did Mark's do the finals over CK? FFS

Finally the SANFL was back on radio so I listened via ABC which was great, pity 5AA have pulled their coverage this year.

Love them or hate them, not having 5AA involved in the finals is a blow. Yet another form of media coverage that has dropped away since 2013.

And agree that CK should be involved wherever possible.

I reckon you're being a bit precious. The teams are pretty much the identical.

Norwood and Sturt are eastern suburb toffee-nosed latte-sippers with some blue on their jumper, and Port and Centrals are ferals from the wrong side of the tracks with premiership dynasties and a bit of white on their jumper. Easy for the work-experience programming manager at Channel 7 to get them confused.

Guilty silence from a few?

You asked for a response from people who "run the stream team"

For the record I don't of anyone who comes on this site who does that.

BP runs all of their Social Media, so presume he has a fair insight into it all.

You said .. Guilty silence from a few?

Given few is more than one, anyone else on this site besides BP you are having a crack at?

BTW - BP is not responsible for rostering this year, you are being very unfair to him in suggesting he had any role in it this year let alone providing an explanation for decisions made.

Please remember for many of us with the stream, the breakdown between someone we consider a mate and the organisation that allows us to do something we love (calling footy) is upsetting. Being publically called to account when were not involved in any decision made and then shamed when we try to stay out of it does not help.
