I still remember about four years ago the Panthers had 17 imports in their league team of 21 ???????????????????

Mr Fuller wrote:Well I'm guessing given how quiet it has been on the recruiting front of late that our list is finalised for the upcoming season. I'm incredibly disappointed with our recruiting after again failing to lure a quality midfielder to the club or even a highly promising junior midfielder.
Every eagles fan would agree that this has been a key weakness over the past 2 seasons but for whatever reason we have ignored this need.
So it will be interesting this season who Godden sees as the next generation midfielder. We know Treeby, Powell McKenzie will do their part. But I am unsure as to who else will stand up.
Goldsworthy and Polec showed most promise last year but I thought Goldsworthy is a bit slow for a rover and will not be that high possession winner we need. Cheep is no good. Hicks/Fairclough/Fitzgerald are rubbish and should not be given further chances.
I think the possible player who could be bring an unknown factor if they step up is Rowntree. I saw him play some excellent games in the reserves but he just needs to apply the same intensity when he gets his chance at league.

Err... LEH & son will be renewing with a season ticket - many more games to attend this year, after a 'lean' year with 1 car only & living in the Southern Vales.
Buying a 2nd car mainly so he & I can attend more footy matches![]()
Love the new Membership Package BTW![]()

- 2 GAYFL games, hopefully Melbourne as my son is a Melbourne fan.
Am a little concerned that my 4 year old daughter is a Panthers supporter!!!
No matter how hard we try, we can't convince her to support the Eagles!!!
Looking forward to trial game on 27th of Feb - might have to lock her in the car for the duration! LOL
Looking forward to seeing Welsh play for us - any ideas where he'll play, I liked him @ CHB for the Western Bulldogs but I assume Godden will play him in the forward line, yeah?

Just have to try a little harder to turn the kid. When they realise that South are really bad, they will turn to the good side.

And considering he gets back the Friday before Rd 3, you'd think he'd miss that as well. BUT, I assume with the "new culture" GOD is creating, he'll be rewarded for this trip by being rushed straight back into the one's in Rd 4, so he's primed for the Rd 5 Fuller - Parry Cup at Noarlunga Oval on easter Monday ... assuming he has not done his shoulder by then.

can't believe itour fearless ex-ruckman is going in for another shoulder reco.
I'm back on the eagles bandwagon now. Reckon they'll be a much better side without that showpony prancing around. And Guilhouse may stay at the Club now that they will be forced to play him in the League team.
