For Eagles fans who have not seen training after xmas.I went along Wednesday night.First full night(I left early but up to 7.10pm) of Ball work.
Firstly its only training and we haven't faced anyone yet . ;)
BUT what a change in the club attitude of players and officials .Like a heavy burden has been lifted or something!
From what I have seen.
The Club while we may not have individual speedsters like many of us would like playing in the midfield.
BUT the team as a whole or entire may in fact move the ball very quickly.
From what I can tell a much bigger emphasis on moving the ball at a quicker pace by hand and foot !!!

So be prepared EAGLE Army the old Defensive game style looks gone .
We may have arrived in the 21st century footy world!!!!!

What happened to "gold and green and blue", you lot?

I mean, I can understand MickyJ being disrespectful to Woodville, but ColD - your avatar and signature leave a bit to be desired if you are, indeed, a representative of the WWTFC.

Imagine if we rearranged the order to suit our allegiance, and had a white, blue and red order on a donut!

Sad.

Confirmed, but nothing a week long bucks party in Vegas won't fix.

Hope it's not the arm he carries his suitcase, or uses his hair straightner with.

He may be gone, but you gotta love the big bloke ... Subi, Port, South, Eagles, all by the age of 25 - what a Club(s)man.

He'll probably donate that massive sign-on back to the Eagles now he can't provide them much service ...

Yeah, the ball does tend to move quickly with no opposition on the field.

About Parry's shoulder not bunton get knocked back ;)

Parry will be going in for surgery. Has more to do with a partial tear in the tendon that attaches the bicep to the shoulder area. Should be playing again around Round 5-6. Perhaps that will further increase the pressure on an ex-AFL player to make a comeback- he's been doing a lot of running, looks fit and would slot nicely into an inexperienced and small back line...

I hope that we are not getting too carried away and anticipatory regarding our new coach.
Any coach is only as good as the players on the park. Lets just wait until at least the squad has played a couple of trials before
Eagle supporters get upbeat. Beware and remember do not count the "eaglettes" until they hatch.
