Well excuse us for not rolling over and quietly dying.
I'll still follow Sturt, same as I have my whole life. If that's a crime against the Power they can just go fet gucked. I just can't understand the number of their supporters who believe the SANFL is theirs to kick around as they wish, and further to that, are upset because we are not letting them.
Keep alienating thecrest of SA like they are and they'll never attract new fans.

See the problem with some people is that they just want to have a crack at port. like i've said in previous post this is not just a port issue it is also a issue with the crows. It has even got to the point of the crows asking David Koch for his help because of his finance experience. Do you really think if this wasn't a issue then the crows would be doing that? So in future if your going to have a go make sure you include everything, which means in this case you would also have to have a crack at the crows.

there is a slight difference, the Crows could of stayed at footy park and survived for many many years to come, on the other hand Port Power NEEDED the SANFL to ALLOW it to play games at AO to have any chance of survival by hopefully increasing its DISMALL crowd attendances despite the ground being closer to its heartland than AO

Hmm Young must have been the difference today for Port since they finally won a game. Coming of the bench must have really upset Glenelg with the fear of how good is he is and those quality stats too!

8 kicks 8 handballs 3 marks and no tackles. Geez we can see why Port were so keen to get him out of the unhelpful develop environment at Prospect.

yes the crows could of stayed at AAMI stadium but the reality is THEY ARE NOW GOING TO ADELAIDE OVAL. Locked into a deal which was initially was going to bring in more revenue, but now looks like it will bring in less. Do you think the crows are not worried because they could of stayed at AAMI stadium?

Young hadn't played in our Reserves for over a year but last week picked up 41 in a team where he knew hardly any players let alone have played with them. Maybe he is not that good despite how much you Port lot were talking him up?

My point was the reason so many posters are focusing on Port more than the Crows is because this move will make or break Port, either way the Crows will survive and survive handsomly.

Are Port still getting a better deal now at AO than they currently are at AAMI?

I knew one of you "numpties" would bite! Young hadn't played in our Reserves for over a year but last week picked up 41 in a team where he knew hardly any players let alone have played with them. Maybe he is not that good despite how much you Port lot were talking him up?

we would bite? trolling are you?

If you want an eye opener, read a certain Port dedicated forum where they are begging for the death of the SANFL.. according to them Port have personally bankrolled the SANFL since 1870 until 1996, then the SANFL have in turn bled them dry.

Although I'd say the majority are probably too young to remember when Port were on the ropes financially.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Could Keith Thomas be doing a worse job at getting the rest of the state to detest his new club?

Doing it very well but sadly despite his "claims" he is ensuring that the Magpies will die!

see thats where you are wrong again. The crows said for them to move to adelaide oval there had to be a incentive, a better deal to make more money. The deal that was offered was going to make more revenue for both crows and power. So it both teams agreed to the move. But now the SANFL have lied blown out the cost stolen money and just expect the crows and power to put up with it. Do you really think the crows would be asking david koch for his help on crunching the number if it wasn't a issue?

What your forgetting is while we owned you if we wanted to move the AFL to AO it was happening whether use wanted to or not

You more than anyone would wanna hope the SANFL don't get in trouble otherwise their simple solution is to not sell the licences.

To be honest I could give an arse about what deal either AFL Club are getting from the AO deal as long as the SANFL derives enough income to support it's operation and agenda and that includes looking after the 8 "real" SANFL Clubs.
