Very sad to see everyone's second fave side hit like that.

Most Clubs are likely to lose 10+ lads who have played league but to lose 10+ of your best 22 is next level.

The North Adelaide Football Club are excited to announce the addition of Reed van Huisstede for the 2022 season.

Name: Reed van Huisstede
Age: 20
Height: 195cm
Weight: 90kg

Reed van Huisstede joins the Roosters from the Sydney Swans VFL program. Reed went through the Sydney Swans Academy and this year spent time with the AFL team in the hub as a train on to assist the listed players. Reed is a 195cm tall utility who can play at either end of the ground. Reed is a good athlete who covers the ground well and has good aerial presence. We are excited by Reed’s versatility and his physical attributes complement our playing style.

Senior Coach Jacob Surjan;
“A Sydney Swans Academy graduate, Reed van Huisstede is a key utility with enormous promise. He made his NEAFL debut for Sydney in 2018. Last year, van Huisstede played VFL with the Swans as a key defender. A strong overhead mark with a big running capacity, Reed will look to have an impact for the Roosters in season 2022.”

We would like to welcome Reed and his family to North Adelaide and we look forward to watching him represent the Roosters in season 2022.

Any news on the Eagles recruiting? Are we holding off announcing anyone until post draft or is the club likely to focus on promoting its talented juniors for the 2022 season after a busy last few years?

There is another player who I consider in their best 22 who won't be there but he was fringe this year that hasn't been announced.
Heard Oliver Shaw hasn't signed yet and not sure if staying?

Sounds like Grubb is off to North possibly.

Impressive sourcing...

Bailey is a smooth moving 182cm on-baller from Qld. Tallied 25 possessions and 12 tackles in a GC Suns Academy game this season.
Billy is a 20yo athletic ruckman.
Good selective recruiting.
