South have announced both Hayden Sampson and Arlo Draper as outs for next season.
I thought it had already been made public that Arlo was focussing on study?

None the less, couple of huge outs for a young team.

South Adelaide is excited to announce the signing of two promising talents for the 2025 Hostplus SANFL season, with Emmanuel Ajang and Tom Gillett set to join the Panthers.

Ajang is a rebounding defender with a knack for pushing up the field. Known for his electric speed and clean ball use, Ajang adds a dynamic edge across the ground.

Originally from Warrnambool, Ajang has spent much of his football journey with Geelong West, where he developed a reputation as a standout talent in the local leagues.

He also gained valuable VFL experience over the past two seasons, playing 10 games for Werribee and showcasing his ability at a higher level.

South Adelaide General Manager of Football Brent Reilly is enthusiastic about Emmanuel’s addition.

“Emmanuel is clean with the ball in hand and brings versatility to our team. His speed and ability to play up the field make him a valuable addition. We’re looking forward to seeing what he can do in 2025,” Reilly said.

Joining Ajang is Tom Gillett, a 202cm developing ruckman with immense potential.

The 19-year-old has been part of the Brisbane Academy since the age of 13, where he steadily refined his skills and laid the foundation for a promising career.

In 2024, Gillett made his VFL debut with Brisbane, gaining invaluable experience at senior level with two games under his belt.

Gillett is widely regarded as a player with all the attributes to grow into a standout ruckman.

“We are very excited to bring Tom to South,” Reilly said.

“He’s a young talent with a lot of potential, and we can’t wait to see him continue his development with us.”

The Panthers welcome both boys to the club and look forward to 2025.

Nik Rokahr will definitely be at the Parade next year. Just a matter of whether he is playing or coaching as he is contracted at Swan Districts for next year and Norwood are trying to get him released from the contract
