Profit for Norwood announced today as being $4,142,619 for the year ending 31 Oct 2007. I typed that figure very carefully too - there are no extra digits.

oh sweet, maybe they can use that money to put stronger lights up at the parade instead of the 60 watters they have now 8)

maybe even have more than 2 bulbs per tower too.

Profit for Norwood announced today as being $4,142,619 for the year ending 31 Oct 2007. I typed that figure very carefully too - there are no extra digits.


Reading that you are saying that Nwd made a $4million profit which I would say is impossible on the income sources Nwd have even taking into account the sale of the NCC. I think it is probably the gross income of the club for the year. I think you should check your figures!

Dunno, I heard they made over 4.5 mil frm the shops. Add normal P&L to that and it sounds about right.
I would have thought any debt on the Nor 'Easter be paid immediatley but they probably had the loan in place anyway and might want to get everything in order before commencing on debt reduction there?

Na would be profit via sale of the Community Club mate, sadly not something we can look forward to regularly.

seriously tho, they can be upgraded on and if so, it would make the night exp so much better there.

WWTFC Annual Reports have been posted to members.

We have announced a profit in the Football Club of $46,239 and for the Licensed club a profit of $114,508.

Total $160,746 profit which is up a little on 2006 season.

good to see all/most clubs operating at a profit- it augers well for the future of the SANFL.
It hasn't always been the case.

The South Adelaide Football club recorded $107k loss down from $76k profit in 06, while the Footballers club recorded a $733k surplus up from $567k last year. Pressure on the Panthers to maintain these surpluses as the $3.0+ml debt starts to raise its interest bearing head and will require prompt repayment for many years to come. Having said that the substantial debt has been well spent with the redevelopment looking really good already at the half completion stage.
