Not really, I know the answer and its obvious, but in the interest of site serenity and not wanting to upset a few cry babies I'll keep it to myself.

Anyway, has Grima signed, can I add him to the official ins and outs list or shall I hold off?

Should be a great player, wouldn't surprise me if he dominated like Jimmy Allan in our comp.
If the Bays can get it up forward I can see him kicking some bags at the Bay.
(I am thinking of the right Grima aren't I? The one who played for Geelong in the VFL last year? Hard to keep track with Grimas coming and going)

Possibly for the same reason that there are a few people at Prospect who don't agree with your assessment of Mr Moore one bit.

Nup, not even close. Back on topic please. Its not like there's a plethora of topics over the Xmas break so feel free to start a new one if you wish to vent your spleen about any topic.
Cheers.

He's 20, kicked 51 goals for Geelong last year.
He can play down back as well as up forward.

Wedgie, you'd better qualify the 51 goals with Geelong as being "51 goals with Geelong's reserves". Don't want to scare Jimmy too much.

DW, Smac et al. ... IIRC there were rumours this time last year that the Dog's had been expressing interest in ex-Roo Troy Makepeace, not sure if these were true or not?

If so, would they be lining up another crack at him you think?

Soooooo then.....does that mean you think Centrals would have beaten some AFL sides last season given the chance....Seeing as the SANFL is supposed to be the second level of football in this country and all. ;)

CP - haven't heard his name come up at all. But there are other people much closer to the action than me on this sort of thing.
Where did he end up last season?

A quick check reveals that he signed with the Casey Scorpions. The most recent mention of his name on this site prior to today was on December 15 2006.

No I dont, personally I think Geelong's VFL side would have beaten the Dogs.
I think the VFL actually has a higher standard of football at times, but I do think we (the SANFL) have the best comp in the world for various other reasons.

Cheers mate, I can't remember where I heard the rumour, but I'd say it was from more than one source to remember it still .. That said, you usually remember when it comes from a credible one and I can't recall that, so might have just been a BS story doing the rounds.

Makepeace has left casey.

Centrals were rumoured to be talking to him last year. Centrals have a few new midfielders training with us presently and he isnt one of them.

apparently thay bays are talking up themselves as genuine presmiership contenders this year. Fortunately the doggies players gave Grima the reality of the situation.

Apparently you blokes were talking yourselves up at the beginning of 2002 and 2006 (with justification) yep you deserve to be favourites but theres a fair bit of footy to go yet in 2008...

Cheers mate ... I reckon he'd be a pretty bloody good SANFL player if any team were lucky enough to snare his signature.
