It amazes me how many times this has been mentioned. So I may be wrong. But I really think the NT would do some recruiting before they entered a team in the SANFL, as well as lift the level of coaching, fitness etc.
Looks as though it's all cactus now anyway.
Agreed trb - a combined side played North a couple of years ago and North won narrowly with the game up for grabs until the last 10 minutes. North's superior discipline showed out in the end in my opinion and they were able to steady while NT had too many players trying to win the game off their own boot.
Anyway I still see the most probable scenario will be for them to join the SANFL but they would be silly not to look at all options.
